Jenna Fischer is best known for her character Pam Beesly on the acclaimed television show The Office For her role, she received an Emmy nomination for the Best Supporting Actress as well as Two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance in an Ensemble Comedy.
In Fort Wayne Indiana, she spent most of her childhood in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna was attracted by her mother's performance in church at the time she started her journey.
Fischer was a stage actress trained in her native country. She starred in the Off-Broadway production Reasons to Be Happy that was directed and written by Neil LaBute and co-starring Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb, as well as Fred Weller. The play was followed by her participation in the world premiere of Steve Martin's newest play Meteor Shower, an absurdist comedy opposite Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg, for a record-breaking performance in the Old Globe Theatre.

The podcast has been an enormous success, making its Top Ten worldwide every week as well as receiving over 200 million downloads within its initial two years. She's also the author of The Actor's Life : A Survival Guide (coauthored by Angela Kinsey), in which her tale of relocating between St. Louis to Hollywood and becoming a working actress is outlined.
