Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson, an American actress, is known for her portrayals of Buffy Summers and Rebecca Becky Granger. She has also appeared as the roles in the TV film Nightingales and the NBC show of the same name (which was only for a couple of episodes) as well as Erica Paget in CBS's drama Early Edition, and Marlowe Viccellio from Psych. Being a native of California, Swanson was interested in acting as a young girl. Her career began in commercials, in which she starred in a variety of commercials. Her first appearance on screen in 1984 in an NBCs It's Your Move show. Following that, in 1986's love story Pretty in Pink, Swan made her first appearance on the bigscreen. Swan is famous for her blonde voice with a breathless hairlisp as well as a the breathless voice. In recent years, she has started to play side characters. She was awarded the Young Artist Award in 1989 for the Best Young Actress in Horror or Mystery Motion Pictures in the film Flowers in the Attic.
