Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme in France, was born on the 9th August, 1976. Audrey Tautou is an elder child out of 4. Audrey Tautou's parents, who are a dental doctor and teacher in a school, supported and encouraged her initial passion for drama and theatre. She initially hoped to be a monkey expert was eclipsed by her wish to pursue a degree in theater and drama. Her rise to fame as an actor in the young age was swift and marked by early success. When she graduated in 1998, her education, she was selected to participate in Jeunes Premiers which is a French television talent-scouting program that was which was run by Canal+. There she won the award for Best Young Actress in the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. It was this that led her to pursue a professional acting career. Tautou attended church and the Institut Catholique de Paris during her youth, however she is now separating herself from these upbringings. In addition to her acting work, she also pursued modelling. She modelled for L'Oreal Mont Blanc, Chanel and has been referred as "The Chanel Muse". Photography is another hobby and she has recently displayed her work at the Arles festival, under the title Superficial. The focus of her photography is celebrities, fame and the media that scrutinised her after her emergence on the scene in the film Amelie. Also, she has numerous photographs of her self. Audrey Tautou's first big performance, in the role of Amelie Poulain's lead actor in Le Fabuleux d'Amelie, landed her international stardom. Amelie achieved international success in the field of box office, and was awarded awards across all over the world. Amelie is the most successful French-language film in the US. After this huge success, Tautou went on to star in many films such as British dramatics, such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Long Sunday of fiancailles. She also starred alongside Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
